Locum Property Legal Officer is required to join a local authority based in Hertfordshire on a locum basis for a period of three months and the view to extend thereafter.

The successful property legal officer will be joining a small team and you will be undertaking your own caseload of property related matters with a specific reference to landlord and tenant, commercial conveyancing and providing advice. You will have drafting ability and be able to draft documentaiton as appropriate.

You will report directly to the solicitor of the council and will be supported by Principals within the team. This role would be ideally suited to someone who is a newly qualified lawyer up to 2-3 years PQE or an experienced paralegal due to the workload involved however we are happy to consider candidates at all levels.
