NHS Inquest Paralegal
Contract -Full-time
£15 per hour

About the Role:

A Central London NHS Trust requires a Paralegal with strong healthcare/NHS and Inquest experience to join and assist the Legal Services team for a minimum of 6 months. The role will involve assistance with the co-ordination and management of inquest claims brought against the Trust. The successful Paralegal will be required to help manage claims from initial receipt to conclusion. Previous healthcare and inquest experience is essential in this role and any NHS experience would be beneficial.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate for this Inquest Paralegal role must have:

  • Inquest experinece is essential
  • 2 years paralegal experience within a healthcare setting
  • Experinece handing a caseload of small claims
  • NHS legal experience is advantageous
  • Good understanding of risk management

Key responsibilities
The successful candidate for this Inquest Paralegal role will be required to:

  • Work alongside the Inquest manager to co-ordinate Inquest claims brought against the Trust
