Location: Newcastle upon Tyne + possibility of flexible working and working from home
Salary: £32,000-£45,000 (depending on experience)
Type: permanent role
Start: ASAP


With my client, a giant, international organisation operating in numerous industries, I am searching for a versatile Oracle Database Administrator keen to join a large IT team working on a variety of projects in the region and internationally. As an Oracle Database Developer, on a daily basis you will be:

  • Managing corporate server software and hardware, taking care if installation, maintenance and development of the system
  • Diagnosing and solving infrastructure problems through monitoring performance, capacity and security of the systems and implemented solutions
  • Managing servers ensuring systems optimised performance.
  • Providing advice and guidance on systems planning
  • Supporting and guiding system's end-users across the business
  • Planning and managing systems backup



  • Experience working with Oracle DBA Server (11g-19c)
  • Experience working in Unix operating system

Ideally, you will also have experience working with:

  • Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
  • Oracle E- Business Suite 12
  • Oracle Web Logic Server
  • Oracle Apex
  • MS SQL Server
