Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a locum Childcare Paralegal to join a local authority in the West Midlands on a temporary basis. The role can be worked remotely, and is expected to last initially for 3-6 month, however could be extended beyond this.

As Childcare Paralegal you will be required to undertake the following duties, which include (but not limited to):

  • Supporting a team of Childcare Lawyers in the duties
  • Drafting court documents
  • Requesting police and medical disclosures
  • Updating and maintaining the case management system
  • Instructing and liaising with external counsel on behalf of solicitors

Our client requires candidates ideally on a full time basis. Candidates that have previous experience of working in a local authority setting are strongly encouraged to apply however candidates with previous childcare experience in private practice are also encouraged to apply.
