Adults (ASC) Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for an Adults Solicitor to join a big, welcoming local authority on a part time basis of 3 days per week.
As an Adult Solicitor you will act as legal adviser to the Clinical Health Commissioning Board, you will advise on urgent and standard applications for Deprivation of Liberty along with applications to the Court of Protection for declarations. You will also act as lead contact in respect of all ASC duty queries and advise in relation to Judicial Review cases. Other responsibilities will include advising on the Local Authority's obligations relating to Community Care, NRPF, safeguarding, displacement of nearest relative and other matters under the MHA 1983.
Required skills and experience:
- Qualified solicitor with proven experience in ASC Law within a Local Authority
- A minimum of 4 years' PQE
