Part-time Planning Lawyer required to join a local authority for an initial 3 month period.
The successful candidate will manage a varied workload of planning matters, which will include;
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on planning and highways agreements and committee reports
- Attending Planning Committee (where possible)
- Working on major s106 agreements
- Managing general highways issues
- Advising in respect of stopping-up orders and rights of way orders
Our client is ideally looking for a Planning Lawyer with local government experience, although this is not essential, and those from Private Practice backgrounds are still highly encouraged to apply. The role is part-time however full time applicants will also be considered.
Additionally, any previous experience of dealing with CPO matters would be desirable, as this role may involve picking these up.
In return, this local authority offers flexible working arrangements, including the potential for occasional home-working where appropriate.
