Planning Solicitor

Up to £45 per hour

Locum, Part Time

6 months

A Planning Solicitor is required to join a local authority on a part time basis, which will roughly be 15- 21 hours a week, and will continue to be remote after the lockdown period.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Solicitor looking for part time, remote role to perhaps run alongside their current assignment. You will be exposed to complex and interesting Planning work and you will need to be an excellent communicator, as delivery is key and be able to build relationships with planners/ clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
  • Planning committees (being done virtually)
  • Judicial Review

Required skills and experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Planning within a local authority
