An excellent opportunity has arised for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a prestigious public sector organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne.

My client is looking for a Payroll Sspecialist to support with the Payroll Parallel Run, comparing data form their current system (SAP) to their new system (Oracle) through their on-going project, with proposed go-live date of September 2022.

This individual would be experienced in payroll processing, and will be comparing data (i.e gross pay, net pay, pension etc) so ideally should be fluent in Excel. Public Sector experience would be desirable due to their pension schemes (LGPS, Teachers Pension, USS).

This opportunity will be for an initial period of 6 months with the option to be extended. The idea would be that the the successful candidate would undertake induction and first lot of parallel payroll runs won site, however this will then move to a more blended approach of both on site and home working.
