Permanent Adult Social Care Lawyer

£37,000 - £49,500

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join an innovative and proactive social enterprise firm which prides itself on providing legal services to three key local authorities and public sector organisations. The firm currently has offices in Northampton, Huntingdon and Shefford so you have the opportunity to be based in either of these offices. The role will be remote in the first instance but some office presence is required thereafter.

The successful adult social care lawyer will be joining a team which has grown significantly in the last couple of years due to the success and growth of the work which is coming into the team. You will have significant support and training with the Principal Lawyer and the team work collaboratively and support each other on cases when needed which creates an excellent environment to work in.

You will be undertaking your own caseload of adult social care matters for local authorities which will include the following;

  • Court of protection matters
  • Deprivation of Liberty
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Mental health matters and Mental Capacity

You will also have the opportunity to get involved with inquest related work and work on behalf of NHS trusts which willl allow some variety in your caseloads. This is an amazing opportunity and not one to be missed.
