Sellick Partnership are currently assisting the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in their search for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Council are looking for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer with local authority experience to join the friendly and welcoming Contracts Team. Candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply! Work undertaken will include:
- Undertaking and managing a full caseload of legal work relating to Contracts and Procurement, including:
- Framework agreements
- Services, supplies and other works
- Shared services
- Preparing, negotiating and drafting council contracts, local agreements and documents
- Providing advice
The council are offering the competitive salary of £36,711 to £45,585, dependent upon experience, and a huge range of benefits for the Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to enjoy.

The role will be conducted remotely for the foreseeable future, with a large proportion of home-working once the offices reopen. Given this flexible working, applicants from further afield are also encouraged to apply.
