Planning and Highways Lawyer required to join a local authority based in Hertfordshire on an interim basis for a period of 3 months initially with the view of extension thereafter.
This council is a County Council and you will be able to pick up a caseload of both planning and highways matters.
There is some really exciting infrastructure developments happening across the county in New housing plans, major road works and due to the project work available, you will have the opportunity to work with other teams in the County along with external providers.
The team offer a friendly and creative atmosphere and within the team have varied experience so they share ideas and work closely together.
The council is currently experiencing a real demand in planning and highways work and is currently looking at expanding their service out to other authorities so the work will be really diverse. You ave the opportunity to join at an exciting time and develop on areas which you may not have been exposed to whilst the organisation is growing.
Our client is happy to consider part time or full time candidates and is flexible with working hours and working from home which makes this an opportunity not to be missed.
