Planning and Highways Lawyer

Local Authority

Locum, 3 months+

£35-40 per hour

Sellick Partnership are seeking a Planning and Highways Lawyer to join a busy and well-respected Local Authority in South London on a locum basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lawyer to further their Planning and Highways skills within a friendly and progressive tem. Our client is seeking a motivated individual who can capably handle a varied caseload of matters relating to this area.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Highways and planning agreements, some high profile
  • Advise on general highways and planning issues, local government law, Commons, Village Greens
  • Have conduct of any related litigation.
  • Advise Members, particularly Members of the County's Planning and Regulatory Committee
  • Advocacy at the Magistrates' Court
  • Managing competing priorities to achieve client deadlines

In return, our client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £35-40 per hour and flexible working arrangements.

The Local Authority is conveniently based for national public transport links.
