Planning and Highways Locum

Our busy local authority client is looking for an experienced planning and highways locum to join the team for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.

  • You will manage a busy caseload including: s106, s278 and s38 agreements alongside providing general highways advice
  • Advise on and drafting of planning and environment-related documentation
  • Advice to Council Members, Committees, Chief Officers and managers on planning and environment and other matters of corporate significance
  • Prepare cases and carry out effective representation of the Council at planning and rights of way inquires

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with previous experience ideally gained in local government. The role will be fully remote and offer full time hours.

In return you will receive a competitive pay rate up to £50 per hour dependant on experience.
