Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a niche social enterprise firm with the recruitment of a Planning and Highways Paralegal on a permanent basis. Our client undertakes a professional legal service to a range of public sector and not to profit clients including those of local authorities, charities and NHS bodies in the surrounding areas and across England.
Our client is actively seeking the Planning and Highways paralegal to assist solicitors within the team but be able to manage a small caseload themselves. This role will be very hands on and will allow you to gain invaluable and varied experience within a large organisation whilst being autonomous with your own matters.
Candidates will be required to support the planning and highways team with assisting solicitors on a variety of matters across the organisation which will include but not limited to;
- Stopping orders
- Rights of Way
- Standard S106 planning agreements
- Standard S38, S278 highways agreements
- Planning advice
Candidates would ideally have previous experience of working within planning or property law and have a real interest in pursuing a career within planning law. This organisation also has opportunities throughout the year for training contracts on offer. Excellent pension scheme and benefits with a highly competitive salary within the market.
They have three offices and you have the option to be based in either of the three offices which are located in Northampton, Cambridge and Bedfordshire.
