Planning and Litigation Lawyer
Contract - Full-time

Planning and Litigation Lawyer required to join a local authority based in the Surrey. My client is looking for a highly motivated Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent with a can-do attitude to join the team on an interim basis for a period of 3 months initially with the view of extension. The ideal candidate would preferably have 3+ years PQE.
As a planning and litigation lawyer you would ideally have experience working with a local authority but we are happy to consider candidates from a private practice background.
The role offers flexible working for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities of a Planning and Litigation Lawyer:
- To handle a caseload of both contentious and non-contentious planning law matters
- Undertake a range of planning agreements
- Deal with planning committees, planning enforcement and planning appeals
Required skills and experience of the Planning and Litigation Lawyer:
- A highly-motivated individual
- A enthusiastic attitude
- Preferably some experience within the public or private sector
