Planning Law Specialist Needed

Locum position - 3-6 months+

£40 - £50 umbrella per hour (DOE)

My client is a local authority based in the West Midlands. They are seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their legal services team on an interim part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced Planning Lawyer who has demonstrable experience managing all areas of planning law, including advice relating to CIL and section 106 agreements of varying complexity.

In this role, you will be tasked with advising on all areas of local government planning law, so previous public sector experience is advantageous (but not essential). You must be an approachable lawyer who is able to advise clients on sensitive matters. This role does not require attendance at Committee meetings.

Given the current COVID pandemic, this role shall be worked on a remote basis and all necessary IT equipment shall be provided by the client. This is a part time role (14-21 hours) and my client can offer a degree of flexibility as to when and how those hours are worked each week.

For more information, or to apply, please contact Kate Jasper in our Manchester office.
