Planning Lawyer required to join an excellent team of lawyers in a Local Authority based in East Anglia. This role is to undertake a good length of contract and in return, our client will offer a good level of flexibility and competitive hourly rate.
The successful candidate will join the Planning and Environment team; duties to include:
- Advising and negotiating on projects involving multiple agencies and client interests, including the third sector and charitable organisations
- Reviewing, advising and drafting s106 Agreements, s275 Agreements, amongst others
- To represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in matters regarding the areas of legal practice relevant to the post
- Act as a source of legal advice and support to any of the client Committees and Directorates as directed to cover the absence of colleagues
I would advise candidates of all levels of experience within this area of law to apply; although ideally experience of working within the public sector.
