My client has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Lawyer to join them in the south-east London area. This is a locum role with a London based Council, initially for 3 to 6 months with the possibility of extension.

As a Planning Lawyer you will join a team dealing with a wide range of planning matters including;

  • Section 106 work
  • Attending planning committees
  • Planning Inquiries
  • Compulsory purchase orders
  • Enforcement
  • Judicial review matters

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a supportive team. Applications from Planning Lawyers with local authority experience is ideal, but not essential, and those with transferable skills from private practice will be strongly considered. It is essential to be able to manage a complex caseload of planning matters.

The successful Planning Lawyer would be able to enjoy some fantastic benefits that the council offer such as;

  • Work from home 1 day a week
  • Great transport links
  • Close proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants
  • Friendly and supportive team

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
