Locum Planning Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in Northamptonshire for a period of 3 - 6 months initially and the view for extension thereafter.

You will ideally be available to start a role on relatively short notice and this role is able to be outside IR35 which makes this a really attractive position. The successful planning lawyer will be required to undertake a range of matters which will include the following;

S106 agreements

S288 agreements

Planning appeals and injunctions

Tree preservation orders

Judicial reviews

Candidates will be able to undertake the role completely remotely during lock down with candidates being able to undertake virtual planning committees on a Wednesday. Post lockdown, candidates will be required to travel to the offices at least one day a week and to cover planning committees on Wednesday evenings when required.

Candidates will ideally be available on a 4 or 5 day working week.
