Planning Legal Assistant required for an initial 3 month period to join a local authority based in London.
The successful candidate will predominantly be assisting the Planning legal team. This will involve managing a caseload of non-contentious matters, providing administrative support, as well as any ad-hoc assistance as and when required. Alongside this, you will provide assistance to the Property and Contracts teams, which gives great exposure to different legal areas. Previous legal administration experience is essential, and it would be beneficial if this was from a local authority environment or from within a large, fast-paced firm.
This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door of a busy legal department within a popular public sector organisation. Due to the urgent need for this position, the successful Planning Legal Assistant will need to be available to start within 2 weeks.
This local authority offers an excellent, agile working environment. The nearest train station is also within close proximity, making this location easily commutable from London and the Home Counties.
