Planning and Highways Lawyer is required to join a large Local Authority based in Cambridge for an initial 3 month assignment due to an open permanent role which has not been filled. There is scope for this to increase up to 12 months +.
Our client is seeking a Planning and Highways Lawyer ideally on a full time basis but there is the option for a job share with two part time candidates.
You will be undertaking a caseload mainly of planning agreements with specific reference to S106 and highways agreements to include S38 and S278.
There is also matters in relation to planning advice, planning enforcement and also attendance at planning committees which is shared out between the team.

This local authority undertakes work for a number of smaller District and Borough councils in the area as well so there is scope for a real range of matters at varying levels of complexity.
