We are currently recruiting for a Planning Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in East Anglia.
As a Planning Litigation Lawyer, you will be undertaking a mixed caseload. The work will primarily be dealing with planning enforcement advice and casework with a specific reference to traveller sites.
The post requires strategic advice and support to the litigation team in which they will then carry forward to advocacy stage. You will also pick up other areas such as planning agreements, where you will deal with S106 matters. Those with previous experience in dealing with planning committees would be beneficial, but this is not a necessity for the role.
The client is happy to consider candidates on either a part-time or full time basis and they are happy to consider two part-time options either in planning or litigation to coincide with each other. There is scope for home working once you are in and settled within the team, alongside flexible working hours.
This is a very interesting and varied role, as you will be covering work for three authorities.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
