Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Planning Paralegal to join a public sector organisation based in Gloucestershire on a locum basis for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful post holder will be working alongside a team of Planning Lawyers who deal with a large and interesting range of planning matters. For the right Planning Paralegal there will be the opportunity to get exposure to a well organised legal team as well as some interesting work.
The Planning Paralegal will also assist with the administration of office processes and procedures including word processing of documents for themselves and legal colleagues. The ideal candidate would have substantial experience of successfully undertaking technical processes and procedures within a professional environment and some experience of legal casework, legislation and policy.
This council is keen to hear from candidates that have previous exposure to planning law, in either a public or private sector and those looking to develop a career in this area. The post will mostly be assisting with planning law, however there is the opportunity to pick up work in other legal areas too.
The role is to start in the next few weeks, and candidates must be available on short notice in order to be considered. Our client is happy to consider either part time or full time candidates, and whilst the role is initially for 3 months there is a strong likelihood of extension to 6 months and beyond.
