My client is looking for a Senior Planning Solicitor (5 years' + PQE) to join their highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Central Reading.

You will work on a broad range of matters, ranging in size and including residential developments, planning appeals and enforcement appeals, planning appraisals, planning obligations and environmental matters including CPO and highways advice, offering an end to end service for landowners and developers.

The team is regularly instructed by clients including, property developers, charities, education providers, property investors, and financiers, businesses of all shapes and sizes and private individuals on a wide range of planning and environmental matters.

They have placed among the UK's top 15 Planning law firms and the Head of Department is described as one of the top 10 planning law solicitors in the UK. They are also recommended as a top tier firm in both of the UK's leading guides to law firms, Chambers UK and The Legal 500.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have at least a 2.1 degree
  • Have completed training at a recognised and respected firm, a local planning authority or other public body
  • Be enthusiastic and hard working
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a team player and reputable
