Pricing Analyst sought for one of the fastest-growing firms currently operating in the UK General Insurance market. Our client, based in Leeds, is in the process of adding to their respected Pricing Team by recruiting a highly driven Pricing Analyst with a desire to expand their knowledge of the technical and commercial side of the UK General Insurance industry.

Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst will include:

  • Leading and executing pricing reviews on new and existing product lines, covering both Personal and Commercial Lines
  • Analyse data using the latest statistical techniques to identify claims trends and predict future performance developments
  • Use and develop profitability models to monitor ongoing product performance and predict financial benefits of new product lines
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of our client's business model, the environment in which it operates and the products and services our client provides
  • Build and maintain good relations with key stakeholders so that they can be kept up to date with developments in key Pricing performance developments

Desirable experience and qualifications:

  • Degree level educated in a numerate subject (2:1 or above)
  • The ability to use Excel to effectively manipulate and analyse data
  • Experience of using EMBLEM / R / RADAR is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
