Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a permanent Pricing and Performance Manager for a leading, reputable and instantly recognisable retail business in Manchester city centre who are undertaking a period of growth, both organically and through acquisition.
You will be a strong and very visible member of the team with the remit of working closely with numerous business stakeholders based both in the UK and overseas and will be tasked with developing and implementing a pricing strategy for a number of flagship sites which will help deliver their significant growth plans for revenue, yield and profit.
This is a complex, hands on role, directing the senior management who are within operations, commercial, retail, marketing and sales teams. You will aid them in making sound conclusions following your analysis, for example identification of price elasticity, drive optimisation, opportunities to maximise revenue & profits through driving additional income and margin and to increase EBITDA.
This key position within both the Group and the wider community combines a thorough knowledge of business issues with sound commercial acumen. You will work within a demanding environment and must have the ability to satisfy the requirements of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be a fully qualified ACA or ACCA or CIMA currently in a similar role within an FMCG, multi-site leisure or retail environment.
You will also be able to demonstrate business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across the breadth of a variety of functions. Good communication skills with proven experience of working alongside and presenting to the senior management team and external stakeholders. You be able to translate commercial financial information (exceptional spreadsheet skills is a must) and create successful business relationships. You will also be able to take a 'big picture' view with demonstrable internal consultancy and influencing skills, while possessing a keen eye for the detail.
You will need to be confident and have the ability the advice, challenge and direct senior individuals to be able to drive continuous improvements.
