Principal Contract Lawyer is required to join a social enterprise firm on a permanent basis.
Our client is a niche social enterprise firm that is one of the leading legal providers for local authorities and public sector bodies within the region. Our client has three offices and you have the opportunity to be based in either their Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire office, however there would be an expectation to travel to different offices for meetings.
The successful Principal Contract Lawyer will manage a team of 8 people which comprises of senior lawyers, newly qualified lawyers and paralegals. You will be commercially minded and be able to look at new income streams for the organisation whilst maintaining those already have. The team currently have some really interesting project work based around healthcare, setting up new companies and managing this along with some regeneration and development across the three regions.
Those who have experience of company law and procurement are highly encouraged to apply whether you have experience of working in the public sector or within private practice.
Our client is looking for someone who can really motivate and drive the team to hit their billable targets and provide an exceptional service to their clients. Our client is keen for someone to help grow their team with new clients also. Our client is happy to consider someone on either a 4 or 5 day week basis and can offer some flexibility with home working and reduced working hours.
