Sellick Partnership is recruiting for a Principal Democratic Service Officer to join a Local Authority based in the East of England.
This role offers the chance to work within a well-respected authority, supporting the legal team in delivering the Council's corporate objectives whilst developing your written and organisational skills in the process.
The duties for the Principal Democratic Service officer include:
- Attend meetings and panels
- Preparing agendas, reports, decision notices and minutes
- Manage public attendance at meetings
We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and a high level of IT competency and literacy, as well as strong organisational and communication skills. Previous use of the Modern Government System would be desirable.
A legal background is not essential for this post, however the ability to manage a diverse workload to strict deadlines is vital.
