Sellick Partnership are delighted to be assisting a Central London Borough Council in the recruitment of a Principal Enforcement Lawyer to join them on an initially locum 3-month contract, with the view to extend.

The Principal Enforcement Lawyer will report to the Head of Litigation and will be undertaking the following duties:

  • Managing a team
  • Providing advice and support for the Council on matters such as, crime, anti-social behaviour, environmental health and licensing
  • Holding a caseload of high profile, complex and sensitive cases
  • Attending Court, Panels and Tribunals

Our client is looking for a Principal Enforcement Lawyer who has previous experience of having managed a team and has extensive knowledge of relevant law. They should also be a qualified Solicitor or equivalent, and those with experience of working within a local authority are highly desirable.
