Redbridge Council are looking for an experienced candidate, well versed in employment law, who is willing to develop a specialism in public procurement and contract law. The Principal Lawyer (Contracts & Employment) will carry a caseload while managing the Contracts and Employment Teams, they will also liaise with Councillors and hold budgetary responsibilities.

Prior local authority experience is advantageous but not required, the most important is good leadership and management skills. The Principal Lawyer will be a qualified solicitor or equivalent.
