Principal Litigation Lawyer wanted to join an established and well-regarded public sector organisation based in Manchester.
Previous experience dealing with equality legislation such as the Equality Act is essential. It is desirable that candidates have expertise in either education law or transportation law.
The successful Litigation Lawyer will be required to:
- Provide specialist technical expertise and advice on equality and human rights law
- Improve the practices, policies and legislation of the organisation
- Undertake regulatory and enforcement legal work
- Examine equality and human rights issues
- Conduct complex legal and advisory work
- Supervise the Litigation and Advisory team
The ideal candidate is someone that has strong project management skills and is a confident communicator.
This is a full-time position and is expected to continue until October 2019, however, there is a possibility that the role will continue beyond that.
Our client is offering some flexibility with home working and can offer a condensed working week.
