Principal Paralegal required to join a social enterprise firm which prides itself on being one of the leading legal services provider for public sector bodies.

You will be under the supervision of a lawyer and you will be running your own caseload of education matters from start to finish. General duties include;

  • Managing/co-ordinating the school appeals/exclusion process
  • Manage the appeals process from start to finish - this will include attending hearings
  • Preparing paperwork for the appeal
  • Advising clients and liaising with parents

You will be required to delegate matters to paralegals and ensure that they are progressing the cases alongside the lawyers. This role would be well suited to someone who has a strong litigation background who is looking to specialise within education law. This area of law is niche and very interesting along with changes throughout so it is a very good specialism to be in. This role requires experience so would need someone who is looking to have a long term career as a paralegal.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
