Perfect Opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a forward thinking and award-winning law firm, where you can further your management experience over a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of lawyers, providing innovative and pragmatic legal advice to a range of public sector bodies. Along with being the main point of contact and offer supervision to the Planning and Highways team, duties will include:

  • Provide legal advice and services to client organisations in the areas of planning, development and highways matters
  • To lead, direct, develop and improve the service to client organisations, to ensure the provision an excellent standard of client care
  • To act as a legal advisor to client organisations; whilst developing and improving the service officers in relation to the planning, highways and property related area
  • To attend courts and tribunals undertaking advocacy where required
