Principal Planning Lawyer
Principal Planning Lawyer is required to join a unique public sector organisation based in the Home Counties on a permanent basis.
The successful Principal Planning Lawyer will be covering the following duties;
- Overseeing a team of around 3-4 lawyers who are at different levels of their career as planning lawyers from newly qualified through to the more experienced.
- Supporting the team in their planning matters and undertaking 1-1 appraisals and reviews.
- You will be ensuring that time recording is met each month.
- Carrying a reduced caseload of the more complex planning matters
- Managing internal and external client relationships
- Looking at ways to bring in new business from other organisations as part of the wider business structure with the Head of Commercial
This organisation can offer some fantastic good quality work due to them managing a number of key development and regeneration projects to which you will be leading on alongside other Principal Lawyers in property and contracts. You will have the chance to help shape the business with looking at new channels to generate business as part of their wider strategy.
Our client is keen to consider candidates from either a private practice or public sector background who have a key interest in this area. Our client is happy to consider those with management experience or those looking to form the next stage in their career with an expertise in planning and willing to train on the management side.
Our client is open to considering full time and part time applicants, ideally those from a public sector background but is happy to consider private practice candidates also. They are ideally looking for a start around July time but would be willing to wait for the right candidate.
