Our client, an award winning law firm ranked by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners are seeking a Principle Associate to join their rapidly growing Planning team based in Leeds.
As the department continues to go from strength to strength. Due to the number of large exciting projects in the pipeline there is a need to recruit an additional specialist planning solicitor to the team. The team currently handles a large variety of high quality work for both private and public sector clients. The aim of the role is to help deliver further growth for the Planning practice both nationally and in the Leeds market.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with members of the Planning team and wider firm to meet client needs. You will be providing clients with commercially focussed planning advice and guidance, delivering growth for the Planning practice both nationally and in the local market, lead on business development initiatives and assist with marketing and training, achieve set financial and chargeable targets KPIs, and ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to.
The firm are seeking a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE, have strong experience promoting CPO's; drafting complex section 106 agreements for large residential developments; and advising in relation to DCO applications. A following is not essential, but enthusiasm for growing client relationships and business development is important. You will also need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills.
