A Commercial Property lawyer with regeneration experience is sought by an east central London Borough. This contract is locum, 3 to 6 months, with potential to be extended beyond this initial period.

The Commercial Property lawyer is expected to undertake complex commercial property transactions, including large regeneration projects. As such, a high level of property and regeneration (including CPO work) knowledge and experience is essential. The Commercial Property Lawyer will undertake this work at a senior level in the property team. Further responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of junior members of the property team
  • Regeneration work and projects
  • Commercial leases and licenses
  • Sales and purchases

In return for this work, the London Borough offers a range of benefits to the Commercial Property Lawyer, including:

  • Nearby transport links
  • Flexible working arrangements, for example, working-from-home 1-day a week
  • Competitive rate.

Our client will strongly consider those without Local Authority experience, but this experience is favourable. Essential experience is that of commercial property matters and regeneration projects.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Zanub Najmi in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
