We are recruiting to a Property Lawyer position working within a highly reputable London Borough Council.
Our London Borough client is looking for a Property Lawyer on a locum-basis. The contract is an initial 3 months with the likelihood to extend on an on-going basis. The role is fully remote, and they are looking to pay £35 - £45 per hour, umbrella rate.
The successful Property Lawyer would ideally have some local government experience, or relevant experience within the private sector. Candidates must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Providing legal advice to council members on commercial and residential property related matters
- Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs)
- Lease extensions
- Development agreements
- Collective Enfranchisement
- Preparing orders and notices
On offer is the chance to work within a friendly team, whilst being paid a highly competitive hourly rate. Remote working allows for candidates from all over the UK to apply, but there is the option for office working, if preferred.
