Are you an experienced Paralegal, looking to be part of the development within a forward thinking Local Authority?

I am seeking a versatile individal to provide professional legal services in property, landlord and tenant and land law to support the Housing department on their development programme.

My client is looking for someone who has the experience dealing with Research, Property (including Conveyancing) and Resolving Legal Issues. Generally, you required to liase Councils legal services, Housing team and partner organisations.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To identify all potential legal issues relating to the proposed development of sites in the Councils ownership (including rights of ways, wayleaves and easements)
  • To visit potential development sites within the district and record any issues
  • Producing reports in relation to issues identified on site and recongising solutions
  • To attend regular meetings with Council officers
  • To carry out all legal work in relation to land ownership and neogtiating with clients

This is a full time post and the role does require travelling to different sites, therefore a driving license would be desirable.
