An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic property paralegal has arisen in a popular, north-east London Borough Council. This is initially a locum contract, 3 to 6 months, but there is potential for this to be extended beyond.
The successful property paralegal will be working on a project to register all of the Council's property deeds with the Land Registry. Responsibilities of the property paralegal will include:
- Completing and submitting Land Registry forms
- Carrying out the appropriate searches
- Locating, checking and co-ordinating the dispatch of deeds to the Land Registry
Experience of property law is essential for the property paralegal role, but Local Authority experience is not.
