An exciting opportunity for a property paralegal has arisen in a popular, north-east London Borough Council. This is initially a locum contract, 3 to 6 months, but there is potential for this to be extended beyond.
The successful property paralegal will be working on a project to register all of the Council's property deeds with the Land Registry. Responsibilities of the property paralegal will include:
- Completing and submitting Land Registry forms
- Carrying out the appropriate searches
- Locating, checking and co-ordinating the dispatch of deeds to the Land Registry
Experience of working with the Land Registry is essential for this role. Those with Local Authority backgrounds are desirable but our client will strongly consider those from other backgrounds who have relevant transferable skills.
