Sellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Prosecutions Lawyer to join a Local Authority in Yorkshire on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator to expand on their experience in a friendly and supportive local authority team. The successful candidate will pick up a range of matters including but not limited to:
- Advising and representing the council in prosecuting criminal offences
- Fly tipping prosecutions
- Food and hygiene prosecutions
- Dealing with licensing matters under the Licensing Act, including gambling, taxi licencing and dangerous animals
- Prosecutions in relation to non-school attendance
- Conducting own advocacy in the magistrates court
