Exciting opportunity for an experienced Prosecutions Lawyer to work within a well-established London Council.
Our client is looking for a Prosecutions Lawyer with local authority experience to join their welcome team.
This role is an initial 3 months with the potential to run for 1 year. The successful candidate will work fully remotely with the option to work office-based, for a competitive rate of £30 - £40 per hour umbrella rate dependant on experience.
This is a great opportunity to join this well-regarded team, working on interesting and varied matters on an ongoing contract basis. This team rarely recruit, don't miss out!
The role will include delivering advice and legal support on the following matters, and more:
- Parking fraud
- Dog fowling
- Benefit fraud
- Penalty charges
- Fraud grant applications
- COVID relief grants
This role would be suited to a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous experience working in local government as a Prosecutions Lawyer.
The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will be joining a friendly and dynamic team, working on an interesting and diverse caseload. The flexible working conditions allows for candidates living anywhere in the country to apply, whilst offering office-based work if preferable.
