Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working alongside a well respected local authority in Kent to find a Prosecutions lawyer, looking for the next step in their career and wanting join their team on a locum basis.

If successful in applying for this new Prosecution lawyer role, you will be working remotely from home, but must be able to attend the office for administrative purposes and court once a week.

You will have the opportunity to work on a varied caseload given the size of the authority and other work it picks up for smaller authorities.

The role will pay £45-50 per hour and the contract will be for an initial 3 months with the possibility of being extended further.

The successful applicant will ideally have public sector Prosecutions experience which will be beneficial in their new role. And must be a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive.

As a Prosecutions Lawyer your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Planning prosecutions
  • Planning enforcement
  • health and safety breaches
  • Environmental Crime
  • Regulatory Matters
