Sellick Partnership are currenlty recruiting for a Prosecutions Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in Leicestershire. The successful candidate for the Prosecutions Lawyer post will be joining a friendly team with the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis.
The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will take on a largely contentious caseload but may also be required to pick up some civil matters. The caseload may include:
- Council Tax Penalties and Fraud
- Environmental Protection
- Taxi licensing
- Housing possessions
Whilst the successful candidate will be expected to pick up a caseload, they will also need to work collaboratively with the team's trainee and support them over the coming months.
Our client is ideally looking for candidates who will be available on a full-time basis, although applicants who are seeking part-time employment will also be considered. The Prosecutions Lawyer will be available from early September for atleast three months but with the liklihood of an extension beyond this.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Sara Robinson in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
