Prosecutions Lawyer required to join a local authority based in East London on an initial locum contract.
Our client is looking for a confident Prosecutions Lawyer, who has a real passion for public law.
The successful candidate will be the lead Licencing Lawyer and will be required to attend licensing subcommittee hearings. Along with this, you will deal with a wide variety of prosecution cases, to include;
- Fraud Prosecutions
- Licensing Prosecutions
- Health and safety offences
- Environmental health prosecutions
- Planning enforcement
- Public space protection orders
- Food hygiene prosecutions
Previous public sector experience within criminal litigation is desirable, due to the nature of the work included, however those from a private practice background will be strongly considered.
