Prosecutions Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in Hertfordshire for a period of 3 months initially and the view for extension thereafter.
The successful Prosecutions lawyer will be able to pick up an existing caseload of matters which will include fly tipping, evironmental, health and safety and enforcement notices to name a few. The work will be of a district council and you must be able to conduct advocacy at County Court on your own matters.
The post has scope to undertake some management responsibilities for those who feel would be happy to take this on but this is not a necessity for the role and can be managed internally.
The role can offer an initial 3 month contract and has scope to extend due to permanent recruitment taking place. There is also long term prospects should you want to take up a permanent position with the council. The council offers a number of benefits which include a flexible working policy with up to two days working from home, free parking and with this role operating outside IR35 this makes it a really attractive post not to be missed!
