The Business

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a dynamic, global organisation who require a vibrant, experienced candidate to assist in the maintenance of the ledger. Following an exciting period of change, this well-established organisation has fast paced finance department and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fit into their team. The role is expected to last for a minimum of 6 months.

The Key responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk

  • Processing manual entry onto Client systems
  • Using in house system to code all invoices on a daily basis
  • Completing invoices to be inputted into various client systems
  • Resolving any internal or external queries via Email or telephone
  • Processing of any new suppliers and setting up bank details
  • Maintenance or ledger balances and any filing or archiving
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc system improvement work

The Ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk

The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a confident, positive individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. It is essential that this self-motivated candidate has exposure to the utilities industry. The successful candidate will have experience in dealing with high volume of invoice coding, strong excel skills and have exposure to a fast paced office environment. Excellent communication skills, coupled with a willingness to learn are essential.
