Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting for our client who are a high quality Legal 500 firm based in Manchester. They are looking to hire an experienced Real Estate Finance Solicitor with a passion for this area of law to join their specialist team. This would be a fantastic opportunity to work closely with other like-minded and supportive individuals on high-quality work.

About The Role

The key responsibilities for this Real Estate Finance Solicitor will be:

  • Dealing with all aspects of Real Estate Finance transactions, acting for multiple lender clients including: risk and recommendation reports to lenders and providing reports and Certificates of Title in various forms (e.g. bank standard, CLLS long and CLLS short form Certificates)
  • Dealing with all aspects of Real Estate due diligence, drafting, negotiation and handling matters to completion.
  • Handling own caseload of files with minimal supervision
  • Providing support in relation to other aspects of work undertaken in the team including asset management, Fixed Charge Receiverships and property aspects of formal insolvencies
  • Maintaining and improving relations with existing clients as well as spotting opportunities for business development and the enhancement of the current services offered

About You

The ideal Real Estate Finance Solicitor will:

  • Have a strong academic record with ideally, 2 - 5 years' PQE
  • Be highly numerate and literature
  • Have a genuine motivation to develop and grow the business
  • Have experience in all aspects of secured lending, from both a borrower and lender perspective
  • Good interpersonal and consultancy skills in order to confidently engage with colleagues and clients
