A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reconciliation Team Manager to join an establised organisation in the heart of Manchester. Due to continue success and growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Reconciliation Team Manager to lead their Reconciliations team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the departmental Director, the Reconciliation Team Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Leading two teams which reconcile stock and cash accounts
- Identifying system issues and making adjustments and improvements
- Resolving complex or serious issues escalated by the team
- Making system enhancements
- Analysing daily, weekly and monthly reports related to reconciliations
- Leading on regulatory reporting
- Business partnering with Managers and Directors from other departments to develop strategies and make improvements across the business
- Experience of working in a high volume transactional envirnoment is essential
- Naturally investigative and a problem-solver by nature: must be able to solve problems related to complex reconciliations
- People management experience
- an AAT qualification (or similar)
- Previous experience of handling complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
