Sellick Partnership are working with a reputable organisation based in Derbyshire who is looking for a Development Manager to join their team on a temporary basis

Duration: End of March 2021+

The main purpose of the Development Manager will be to project manage, through to completion, regeneration schemes and new build developments

Responsibilities for the Development Manager include;

  • Delivering regeneration and development projects for a social housing provider
  • Providing detailed business cases for the projects
  • Managing large scale complex development schemes within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Providing strong leadership to the Development and Regeneration team
  • Leading the development of scheme designs, preparation of contract documentation, land purchases, planning negotiations and applications
  • Assisting in the development of sound risk management practices
  • Developing and maintaining a robust contracts management framework
  • Providing clear and robust reporting of all appropriate activities
  • Actively driving forward service delivery to achieve improved performance, reduced costs and increased satisfaction

Criteria of the Development Manager:

  • Sound knowledge of building construction and development procedures
  • Project and contract management experience
  • Relevant degree or qualification
